Description

Regional public engagement project to assess attitudes related to the subject of Chalk River Laboratoires (CRL), specifically CRL operations, remediation and revitalization and CRL major projects.
The target completion date for the project is 2018 May 31.

In the context of the Project, CNL may have to obtain the following:

Conduct of Regional Focus Group(s) – to assess attitudes, concerns and gather suggestions related to significant CRL activities and projects.

- Conduct of Attitude Survey – Regional survey on knowledge and attitudes related to CRL general operations/ management, site remediation and revitalization, and major projects.
- Purpose – establish benchmark of host region attitudes on Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, role in the Canadian innovation setting, environmental stewardship, and confidence in major projects.[PQ1]

The Attitude Survey will likely be the first of several annual survey engagements.
