Description

The City of North Bay is soliciting Proposals from qualified Proponents to provide a lease for a poll level optical scan tabulation system (including the provision of AODA compliant ballot marking units and ballot printing services) as described herein, and in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

The poll level optical scan tabulator units will be used in all advanced voting locations and on voting places on voting day. The ballots will be tabulated electronically at the voting place. The central tabulation equipment shall be capable of reading and compiling the information contained on individual poll memory units; tabulating the votes cast at all advance voting places; and displaying results from all contests. Poll results should be stored on removable memory units.

The AODA compliant ballot marking units will be used in all advance voting locations.

The delivery timetable will be June 1, 2018, to allow sufficient preparation time for the 2018 Municipal Elections to be held on Monday, October 22, 2018.
