Description

The City of North Bay currently maintains a fuel depot at the Public Works yard used to supply fuel to all City vehicles. The system operates 24/7 and is used by essential emergency services of the City. The current system consists of three above ground fuel storage tanks, three two-position dispensers, and one single position dispenser. The dispensers are controlled by a Computrol fuel management system. Fuel is purchased in bulk with the City dispensing approximately 1.8 million litres of fuel per year. Additionally, there is one waste oil storage tank which is used for building heating that also needs to be replaced.

The current system is aging and requires upgrades or replacement to ensure ongoing compliance with TSSA regulatory standards and atmospheric temperature compensated dispensing. The City is seeking Proposals for feasible options for a fuel system that support the City’s operations. These options include:
1.Upgrading the existing tanks and infrastructure
2.Installing a new stand-alone system; or
3.Install a new stand-alone system that is vendor owned/maintained.
