Description

In order to respect the CSA Group S37-18 Antennas, towers, and antenna-supporting structures standard, CBC/Radio-Canada must perform inspections on its antenna-supporting structures at regular intervals. Guyed structures should be inspected at four-year intervals, while non-guyed, or self-support structures should be inspected at six-year intervals. Deficiencies found in these inspections should be corrected at the earliest convenience to ensure the structures remain safe and do not pose a threat to public safety.

This proposal seeks to perform the necessary tower maintenance for those CBC/Radio-Canada structures which were inspected in 2021.

CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right to select more than one supplier after evaluation of the Proposals.

This procurement is subject to Chapter Five (Government Procurement) of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

CBC/Radio-Canada retains the right to negotiate with Proponents on any procurement.
