SCM20240708 - Consultation Services – Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a Supplier to provide support to CBC/Radio-Canada in tackling risks of forced labour and child labour in its activities and supply chains. 
As part of its mandate, the Supplier shall provide consultancy services regarding its responsibility to tackle risks of forced labour and child labour in its activities and supply chains by better understanding its higher-risk supply chain areas and conducting risk assessments of its activities.
CBC/Radio-Canada is committed to identifying, addressing, and preventing forced labour and child labour in its supply chain and activities. The consultant shall, but not be limited to the following: 

1. conduct a benchmarking review of risk assessment of the supply chain and activities and available software.
2. interview with pertinent stakeholders to map our supply chain and activities.
3. conduct risk assessments of CBC/Radio-Canada supply chain and activities (without the use of software).
4. develop an action plan based on the higher risks.
5. develop a tailored forced and child labour questionnaire.
6. develop an executive report and a full report summarizing all the actions above as well as draft the 2024-2025 CBC/Radio-Canada annual report. 
7. develop training on fighting forced labour and child labour (option);

Any contact with CBC/Radio-Canada prior to obtaining the RFP documentation must be undertaken by e-mail only, addressed, only, to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative, whose co-ordinates appear below.  All e-mails pertaining to this RFP must state the RFP reference number (RFP #SCM20240708) in the “Subject” of the e-mail.

2. Once the tender documents have been obtained, Proponents may have queries, require further information or clarification, or discover certain omissions or ambiguities in the RFP documents.  If so, or if there is any doubt about the meaning of any part of this RFP, must submit their questions through MERX no later than the date specified in the Main Document PART I: INTRODUCTION, Table 1: Critical Dates in the RFP Process of the main document.
