1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:
The key objectives in issuing this RFI are as follows:
CBC / Radio-Canada is considering acquiring a password management tool to allow all of its employees to reduce their efforts in protecting, composing, manipulating and monitoring their passwords which they use daily in their work accessing multiple IT services. To ensure the success of this acquisition, we would like to know in detail every feature that such a tool can offer to the company and its employees. We would also like to know how employees are going to get the most out of this kind of tool. CBC / Radio-Canada is looking for an intuitive solution that will be very secure, easy to use and administer. This solution should also allow for monitoring and reporting on usage.
Pursuant to the RFI, CBC/Radio-Canada may elect to continue the process and proceed to a second step, without obligation, which may result in a Request for proposal (hereinafter “RFP”) In the event that it does decide to proceed with the RFP, CBC/Radio-Canada reserves the right to include in that RFP any criteria, terms, conditions and requirements it deems necessary.
Respondents must understand that CBC/Radio-Canada would not necessarily limit participation in submitting a proposal only to Respondents identified as part of this RFI.
