Objective
The purpose of this NOI is to:
(a) announce CATSA’s intention to issue a Request for Proposals (“RFP”), on or about May 9, 2017 to Eligible Bidders for the services of Radiation Safety Experts (the “Services”), on an as and when required basis, upon entering into a Contract; and
(b) inform interested Bidders as to the requirements to qualify for participation in the RFP for the Services.
NO FURTHER NOTICES WILL BE POSTED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT, EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE CONTEMPLATED BY THIS NOI.
As described in the NOI, an RFP for the Services will be released directly to Eligible Bidders. “Eligible Bidders” are those Bidders that have responded to this NOI by submitting an “NOI Response” as described in the NOI.
Scope

CATSA has a requirement to procure the services of independent radiation safety experts to provide advice on CATSA’s current radiation safety program, to validate and ensure its ongoing compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, deliver training, provide analysis, advice, and other expert services, on an as and when required basis.
It is anticipated that the term of any resulting Contract will be for an initial term of five years, renewable for an additional period of five years at CATSA’s sole and irrevocable option.
The RFP for the Services will contain more details on the terms and conditions applicable to any resulting Contract.
Requirements to Participate in the RFP for the Services
Bidders must complete and submit to CATSA, Schedule “A” (Confidentiality Agreement) in accordance with the process described in the NOI.
