Introduction:
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is a Crown Corporation with headquarters in Ottawa and is responsible for the delivery of consistent, effective and efficient screening of passengers and non-passengers in designated airports.

Objective:
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority has a requirement for the supply, packaging, shipping and delivery of bins and labeled bins, and related goods and services, as and when requested, to support lifecycle and ongoing operational requirements for a period of five years, as further described in the RFP document.
Mandatory Requirement: The bidder must provide a statement in the form of a letter within its Techncial Offer that its proposed Good is the Incumbent Good, or, a Functional Equivalent (as defined in the RFP document). The statement must include the product brand and/or manufacturer, product number, and description.
Note to bidders:
Bidders proposing the Incumbent Good are not required to provide a sample.
Bidders proposing a Functional Equivalent must submit one sample of their proposed Good for evaluation by CATSA, as further outlined in Section 3 (Mandatory Requirement) of Schedule C of the RFP. Bidders shall be responsible for all costs, including product/material cost and delivery costs related to the submission of sample to CATSA. Sample submitted by bidders will not be returned.
Rated Requirements:
The RFP contains all the detailed rated requirements as well as their associated ratings.
Contractor Selection:
The RFP contains all the basis for contractor selection.
