Introduction
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (“CATSA”) is a Crown corporation with headquarters in Ottawa and is responsible for the delivery of consistent, effective and efficient screening of passengers and non-passengers in designated airports.

Objective
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (“CATSA”) has a requirement to procure FARGO® HDP5000 Identification Card Printer, Maintenance, Consumables, Inventory Management, and Replacements for an initial three year period with two one-year options as further described in the RFP.
Mandatory Requirements
A Bidder’s proposal to this RFP must include:
a. a letter from HID Global certifying that it is authorized to supply and perform maintenance services, including warranty work, on FARGO® printer model number HDP5000, and;
b. a declaration from the bidder confirming its ability to provide On-site repair services to all Class 1 airport locations listed in the RFP.
Financial Evaluation
The RFP contains all the detailed financial offer requirements.
Contractor Selection
The RFP contains the basis for contractor selection.
